ScreenPorchBuilder.com ("the site," "we," "our," or "us") is an independent guide to screened porches, operated by Burch Contracting (C. Scott Burch). This policy explains what the site collects when you use it, how that is used, and who it is and is not shared with.

Ownership disclosure. Burch Contracting, which operates this site, is a screened porch contractor. It also runs the Screen Porch Builders directory at pros.screenporchbuilder.com, the contractor directory this site's finder links into, and is listed in that directory alongside the companies it competes with. Contractors pay to be listed there. You never pay to search it, and the details you give this site are not sold into a lead auction.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you submit a contractor-match request, join the waitlist, or use the contact form:

• Your name
• Email address
• Phone number
• City, ZIP code, and subdivision (optional)
• Project type and description (optional)

We do not collect payment information, Social Security numbers, or sensitive personal data through this website.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to:

• Reply to your match request or question, including sending you the contractors listed in the Screen Porch Builders directory for your area
• Email you once, if you joined the waitlist, when a listed contractor covers your ZIP code
• Correct the guidance on this site when you report an error

We do not send marketing emails, newsletters, or promotional materials. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party, and we do not pass what you send through this site's forms to contractors — you decide whom to contact.

3. Third-Party Services and Our Directory

Our contact forms use Web3Forms (web3forms.com) to process and deliver your submission to us. Web3Forms receives the information you submit through our forms. We recommend reviewing Web3Forms' Privacy Policy for details on their data handling.

This website loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Google may collect your IP address when your browser requests these fonts. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

The contractor finder at /contractors links into the Screen Porch Builders directory at pros.screenporchbuilder.com, which we also operate. Nothing you type into the finder is sent to the directory — the ZIP check runs in your own browser, and the link it gives you carries only the state, town and service category it points to, never your ZIP. The directory runs on its own software with its own forms, and anything you submit there is covered by the directory's privacy policy. In particular, a quote request made through the directory is shared with the listed contractors who serve your area, who pay for each request.

Some pages on this site load Microsoft Clarity (clarity.ms), an analytics tool that records how visitors use a page — page views, clicks and scrolling — so we can find what is confusing or broken. Clarity uses cookies and similar technology, and Microsoft processes that data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising scripts.

4. Cookies

Microsoft Clarity sets cookies on the pages where it runs, to recognise a returning browser and group page views into a visit. Apart from that, ScreenPorchBuilder.com does not set its own cookies. Web3Forms and Google Fonts may set their own cookies as described in their respective privacy policies. You can block or clear cookies at any time in your browser settings.

5. Data Retention

Match requests, waitlist sign-ups and contact form submissions are retained in our email inbox. We delete completed or outdated inquiries within 12 months. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to any personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Opt out of any follow-up communication from us

7. Children's Privacy
